Monton
Megan joined Monkton's brand journey just as they wrapped up a rebrand. Her role was to aid in the build out of the brand guide for successful compliance across their large network of supporting freelancers and contractors, social media assets via Canva, an extensive custom illustration library build, subsidiary/partner logo creation, digital and print collateral, giveaway items such as stickers, and business cards. Megan, via The Mega Creative Company, provided on-going graphic design contract support for Monkton.
The Mega Creative Company has proudly won four design awards with work associated with Monkton.
Custom Illustration
Megan worked from the ground up, armed with a newly minted brand guide, to establish a custom illustration style for the Monkton team. With limited stock photography that captures the nuance of complex topics, the goal of simple and digestible illustrations serves as an effective alternative in their visual toolkit.
With the strong use of the branded color palette, the goal was to create a library of imagery and provide on-going illustrative support as needed to distill the either complex or abstract topics.
Print and digital collateral
Print and digital collateral such as business cards, flyers, and long-format booklets incorporate strategic use of Monkton's color palette, white space for balance and breathing room, and clean organization of information to create a compelling read. Each piece is designed to live within the brand's visual identity system, while ensuring a fresh take on it every time.
Content specifics have been redacted via a blur effect to protect Monkton's confidential and proprietary information within these documents for portfolio purposes.
Social Media
The custom, branded illustrations Megan developed are further incorporated as in integral part of how Monkton shows up on social media, with on-brand posts and swipe-able carousels for LinkedIn.
Megan uses Adobe Illustrator for complex carousel designs and Canva for easily editable posts and on-brand designed templates that the wider team can customize on the fly.
Infographics
Monkton often deals with complex stats, figures, abstract ideas, and content-rich information as they develop Cloud Native, Edge Computing, and AI-ready solutions for government clients.
Megan transforms this copy into easy-to-consume infographics that are informative, as well as interactive and engaging to explore as a reader.
