Shenandoah Studios

Specializing in short and long-form lifestyle TV & documentary films, Shenandoah Studios is an new business hitting the Virginia film industry scene. Megan worked with their founder to create a film strip + reel-inspired logo that avoids cliches while fostering a fun “aha moment” with all letters of the name hidden within. She worked as an on-going contractor to develop pitch deck presentations, a GoDaddy hosted website, and a spin-off brand for ‘Good Day, VA!’

The logo process + behind the scenes

Full Process Breakdown

Film and tv inspired, but not cliche. Nods to the industry, but not “Classic Hollywood.” Fueled by the Blue Ridge Mountain landscape, but not naturalistic. These were the parameters Megan worked in, around, and in between to craft a memorable, unique, and functional logo for Shenandoah Studios.

Below are excerpts from the Round 1 logo pitch deck that includes mood boards, sketches, font explorations, color applications, and vectorized options and iterations. Web design work for their website launch is also featured.

The ‘Good Day, VA!’ Logo + Brand

VIEW ROUND 1 PITCH DECK

Part of Shenandoah Studio’s portfolio of work includes ‘Good Day, VA!’ where they partner with local businesses to develop tailored video content to grow their digital marketing toolkit and provide exposure via traditional broadcast outlets.

Megan worked with Shenandoah Studio’s to develop this subsidiary brand with a full logo exploration process and supporting materials such as pitch deck presentations.
